RIYADH: Saudi Arabia's industrial production saw a 2% year-on-year rise in March 2025, according to the latest data from the General Authority for Statistics.
The growth was largely driven by a 5.1% increase in manufacturing and a 15% rise in the water supply, sanitation, and waste management sector.
However, mining and quarrying fell by 0.2%, and electricity, gas, steam, and air conditioning supply saw a decline of 0.9%.
Oil-related activities grew modestly by 0.5%, while non-oil industrial activities surged by 5.6%, reflecting the Kingdom’s economic diversification efforts.
